You usually see micro mini dresses and micro mini skirts as swimwear. For mostly teenage girls or young 20-somethings, a micro mini denim jean skirt is usually what one might wear. A micro mini dress or micro mini skirt can be a powerful garment to wear for nights out. For that extra *oomph* of mini skirt style, some of the micro mini skirts can hang low like with some '90s aesthetic or even some 2000s aesthetic. This can allow for the wearer to go with some daring midriff-baring tops.
While a micro mini dress or a micro mini skirt can be hot, some of these dresses and skirts could easily be trashy to wear, or micro mini dresses may be a bit too bold to try to dress down or downplay. Some micro mini dresses and micro mini skirts could borderline on *street walker* wear. So it's best to find some stylish ones for casual, beach, or night out wear.
What If You Aren't Confident With a Micro Mini Skirt?
Some fashionistas would probably wear something underneath if they are not as confident wearing a micro mini. If you want to keep it casual, a pair of sneakers or some casual sandals would do just fine. Step up your style with some high-heel sandals of the wedge or stiletto heel variety.If you prefer boots, I would recommend some non-lace-up ones. You could opt for some chic high-heel ankle boots, some sleek knee-high boots, or perhaps even some platform boots. I suppose you can also opt for over-knee boots, though I don't like then much.
I would stay away from most flip-flop/thong sandals, Birkenstock sandals, and maybe even rubber clogs as well with micro mini dresses or micro mini skirts. Maybe I'd save the flip-flop/thong sandals if you were wearing it as a beach/surf/resort outfit but not for an errand-running outfit.
My Thoughts on Micro Minis.
I would never suggest a mini skirt or mini dress usually. However, I say go for a micro mini dress or a micro mini skirt if they fancy you. Just be sure to style them up in a way that doesn't appear trashy or promiscuous. Since a micro mini is more powerful and more daring to wear than almost any other mini skirt or mini dress, care should be taken to style them wonderfully and not try to have a sort of *street walker* appearance.Micro Minis Online
