TomboyX

John B. Marine | 8:33 AM | | | |
TomboyX makes eco-friendly and comfortable underwear. They make a variety of underwear for males and females. This underwear is also for youthful and rebellious individuals. Good-fitting underwear for the everyday person is what TomboyX is all about. I will try to discuss TomboyX as much as I can here. I hope you'll be able to get some perspective on this designer through this blog post here on "StyleSpace by JBM."

A Note About Brands...

The opinions expressed are of my own. I am either contacted by a company to talk about them, or I choose to do my own post. I did this post on my own.

TomboyX

TomboyX. Get to know them with this blog post. Here is a video briefly highlighting on TomboyX:

^ Seattle's TomboyX is rising up in the underwear world

And this picture is a sample of one of their campaigns:

TomboyX body gender
^ from: mergelane.com - TomboyX is more about function than form. There is no discrimination of style for various body types or genders from TomboyX and their offerings.

TomboyX is a designer of eco-friendly and comfortable underwear. This designer is based in Seattle, Washington, USA; and it was founded in 2013 by... two tomboys- Fran Dunaway and Naomi Gonzalez. Who knew! Most of what TomboyX has to offer is eco-friendly underwear that is stylish for both males and females. They also offer bras and swimwear as part of their collection of garments. This is one fashion designer that doesn't limit itself to one specific set of individuals. They also provide more gender neutral, unisex type fashions. It is also not a company that discriminates against certain individuals or certain figures. For example, they don't think larger-size individuals "aren't cool enough" to wear their clothes. This company makes underwear and intimates for people ranging frm slender types to wider types.

The way I learned of TomboyX and how I got exposed to them, however, comes from a certain community. If there is one quality of TomboyX that should be of note, the company has its own line of underwear supporting the transgender community. It is probably the only or first designer I know of to support the transgnder community of the greater LGBT community. Actually, TomboyX has TWO collections sure to make the LGBT community happy. They have a "Rainbow Pride" collection and a "Trans Pride" collection. The Rainbow Collection is a general collection of mostly underwear for LGBT types to celebrate and honor their LGBT pride. The Trans Pride collection, as you would imagine, is for those transgender types celebrating their transgender pride.

So it is safe to say this is one company that really cares about a broad spectrum of individuals of different body types and personalities. Not many fashion designers can lay claim to that. Usually the big style designers only focus on average people. TomboyX, however, caters to a variety of individuals and doesn't discriminate in the least sense. Everyone of every body type and style can look and feel great with their items. This alone is worthy of respect. Also of respect is how engaged they are with certain causes. In their history, they have exposed and promoted different causes ranging from LGBT matters to battling against the Pink Tax. This makes TomboyX also strong on being activists and aware. They don't just make clothes; they are active and alert with various issues most people don't even acknowledge or discuss.

Allow me to share some final thoughts on TomboyX before I close this post out.

TomboyX: Final Thoughts

With their character and personality, it is hard to dislike TomboyX and what they have to offer. Their devotion towards eco-friendly underwear is nothing new or unique. However, their willingness to provide great-fitting and great styled underwear and other garments for various figures is commendable. Types ranging from slender bodies to more curvy bodies can find comfort in TomboyX and their offerings.

Even the LGBT community can enjoy their garments. A lot of different fashion designers would probably shy away from certain figures or certain individuals. Some other designers may probably even talk about a certain set of individuals as "not cool enough to wear their clothes." Not TomboyX. Why would you want to shun out individuals about having great underwear to wear?

TomboyX, if anything, deserve lots of credit for providing quality underwear and intimates for just about everyone. At least this designer is doing things most popular designers (or even image-conscious designers) may not have the courage to do. You are not going to be criticized for made fun of for wearing their clothes while not looking like any average person. You can proudly wear TomboyX's underwear as a wider-sized individual as freely and as stylishly as any average size person with little or no compromise. So at least respect what TomboyX is doing as opposed to a lot of other fashion designers. The fact they even care about the environment as well as ethical practices makes them viable so that you can feel guilt-free wearing their products. There are just so many parallels that make TomboyX an amazing company because of their beliefs and practices outside of their stylish clothing. TomboyX has my full respect for sure for all they do and what they stand for.
