First "StyleSpace by JBM" post of 2020! Happy new year! :DIs Victoria's Secret Still Cool?
People have their thoughts, and I will definitely share mine. Here's the best image I could find to provide the mood for this post:

If you are any kind of hot or fashionable female, you've probably heard of Victoria's Secret at some point. The brand is synonymous with clothing for the hot and confident woman. Younger types who still want to feel fun and hot are usually into Victoria Secret's PINK line. If you want to work up a sweat with Victoria's Secret, you have the Victoria Sport (or VSX) brand. Victoria's Secret has something for every fashionista mostly 18 or older. To promote the brand globally, some of the loveliest ladies parade their Victoria's Secret wardrobe with the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. These Victoria's Secret Angels are among some of the most attractive women in the world showcasing absolute confidence and charm. Personally, I loved South African model Candice Swanepoel among the Victoria's Secret Angels.
Despite all of the love people have given Victoria's Secret over the years, they have been under fire for a number of reasons. I can recall VS ranted on once as they once thought of a clothing collection for younger types (like children or very young teens. Victoria's Secret rejected the notion of plus-size models for their clothing. They also rejected the notion of transgender models for their clothing. In recent years, the once-popular Victoria's Secret Fashion Show had ratings drop as well as the show being entirely canceled. This leads people to believe that Victoria's Secret as a whole is a sinking ship. It is a ship that has taken some damage at the bottom and is slowly going under.
A lot of what you have read so far points towards Victoria's Secret is not as enticing and fun as it used to be. So is it still a cool brand? Does there possibly need to be some sort of change to keep Victoria's Secret relevant? Let me offer my own ideas here.
Is Victoria's Secret Still Cool? I Say...
...yes. I doubt a vast majority of fashionistas will treat Victoria's Secret as if they are boycotting the brand. People would have to REALLY hate Victoria's Secret to where it no longer becomes any sort of iconic designer brand. That even includes seeing all the "PINK" and "LOVE PINK" casual clothing among young fans of the brand. I still think Victoria's Secret is the brand for the confident and hot fashionista. Honestly, this company has to be better accepting of various women as well as not make statements that will ruffle the feathers of various fashionistas.Unless some other designer is on the same wavelength of what Victoria's Secret stands for in terms of apparel and appeal, I doubt Victoria's Secret will completely fall into irrelevance. Even still, Victoria's Secret really needs to clean up its image to avoid being completely left for dead. It can still be a designer offering flirty and sexy clothing and intimates while not being a brand with some completely corrupt leadership or controversial practices. More of the issues of Victoria's Secret's are more internal rather than people disliking their clothing as a whole or anything. So while I say Victoria's Secret is still cool, they are still a number of false steps away from falling into obscurity. They have to get things together- and QUICK.
Those are my thoughts. What say you?
