Clear footwear has the appeal of your average footwear but seems invisible. It is a fashion style popularized by the Kardashians and Jenners. Such footwear sort of have an effect of elongating feet and not cutting off your proportions. This can be a plus for some petites. It also can be a plus for those of color who want skin-toned footwear. For instance, (skin-tone)-colored pumps won't be color-matching for someone with darker or lighter skin. Clear footwear can be a stylish alternative to skin-tone footwear.
Before clear footwear became popular among fashionistas of late, most of the clear shoes I've seen primarily have been among the *adult entertainer* or *street walker* type. Most of the clear shoes I've seen aren't real stylish to me. While I don't hate clear footwear, I am just not as much into them much. A lot of them appear cheap and just aren't as stylish as any non-clear shoes.
A Health Warning on Clear Shoes?
A doctor suggests that wearing clear shoes can post some health risks. Wearing such shoes could increase the rate of fungal conditions or bacterial infections. They could also increase the chances of getting blisters on your feet. For those looking to elongate one's figure at the feet or have a more accurate skin-tone set of footwear, clear footwear can be a charming option for fashionistas. I am not completely into the clear shoe deal, but I am sure a lot of fashionistas would love the appeal provided by many different clear shoes. I would not construct an outfit to include Anything from clear pumps to clear sandals are some shoes that should entice any interested fashionista.
