Converse is known for casual coolness. Their sneakers have been a unisex favorite. One of the new Converses of late has been the Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel- a classic Chuck Taylor type sneaker with a low block heel. I will spend some time and talk about these sneakers in this blog post. Just on the silhouette of these sneaker boots alone, these shoes can be styled casually or in some cases, chic. Maybe a fashionista could see these as more upscale high-top sneakers. Some could see them more like a sneaker version of combat boots. It is possible some classy or semi-formal outfits could be paired with these sneaker boots. In fact, try sporting some of these sneaker boots for Casual Friday at work, or pair them with your most girly dress. You could even hide these sneaker boots under a pair of bell bottoms or wide-leg jeans/pants. The Goth/Emo/Punk set often fancies some Converse sneakers as well. So you can imagine these being paired with some girly dark/edgy outfits.

My Thoughts on These Sneakers.

While I am not a Converse lover, I will admit these sneakers have something going for them. These are much better looking than those sneaker pumps I've seen for years that looks like a pair of Chuck Taylor sneakers but with a stiletto high heel. Their versatility alone makes these sneakers enticing to fashionistas. Honestly, I think it is the heel that makes them more enticing than any average pair of Converses. You lose some of the casual cool of a simple pair of sneakers with the 70 De Luxe Heel shoes, but you gain a girly vibe that allows you to top off a relatively chic outfit with. I tend to like these more chic Converse sneaker boots better than an average pair of high-top Converses on fashionistas. So if you want the Converse appeal on your feet but with a chic touch, you'd be best trying to snap these up to add to your shoe collection.
