Holographic Fashion

John B. Marine | 12:57 AM | | |
Can holograms be fashionable? Some dare say yes. Here is another trend from either the '80s or the early '90s that has been popular of late. Holograms are shiny and colorful. Silver holograms are most popular. There are plenty who love holographic chic. Are you one of them? This blog post is actually one I wanted to start a long time ago, but just like many of my very old posts, I finally completed the post to be released to my blog. So welcome to one of my latest posts! I'll do my best to discuss holographic fashion. You're welcome to offer your thoughts once this post is done.

--- Holographic Fashion ---

Time to get you attracted to holograms and holographic fashion. Here you go:

holograms and holographic fashion
^ from: style.mtv.com - These are only a few examples of holographic fashion.

So as you can tell, holograms can be trendy and fashionable in a number of ways. Such holographic pieces offer various colors when viewed from different angles. Holograms are shiny and colorful. In ways, you can say such holographic fashion items are the evolution of metallic-type fashion pieces. In no way is holographic fashion is going to blow minds in terms of ultra-chic appeal. Then again, this is more of an early '90s trend that has been popular of late.

In a way, I kind of want to think of holographic fashion as another example of shine and sparkle garments- like sequins or metallics. Only difference is that holographic fashions introduce some extra color to them. Would I rather recommend holographic pieces or anything else? Surely, I'd say "anything else."

Holographic Fashion and Beauty Items.

Want yourself some examples of holographic fashion? I'll try to feature as many different holographic items as possible to show just how popular this is:

holographic cap
^ from: www.amazon.com - How about this to set the mood? This is a silver hologram cap. Very take-your-backside-back-to-the-80s-or-early-90s-where-you-belong-and-don't-come-back, but I'm biased...

holographic leggings
^ from: www.amazon.com - Even leggings have holographic appeal.

holographic handbag
^ from: www.amazon.com - This handbag has holographic appeal, because nothing brings "look at me!" like an attention-grabbing bag of some sort.

holographic pumps
^ from: shop.nordstrom.com - These holographic pumps can make a lasting impression when paired with a well-styled outfit.

holographic oxford shoes
^ from: www.shopbop.com - These are some holographic oxford shoes.

holographic laceless sneakers
^ from: www.amazon.com - Enjoy the holographic appeal with sneakers like these.

holographic erotic heels
^ from: www.amazon.com - Holographic details even go to exotic dancer shoes like these.

holographic backpack
^ from: www.amazon.com - Carry your books (and other things) in style with a holographic backpack.

holographic thermos cup
^ from: shop.nordstrom.com - This holographic thermos cup is not a bad way to hold your coffee.

Holographic Fashion: Online Insight.

Here are a few online bits featuring holographic fashion. And for this section, I am only focusing on LOOKBOOK outfits. I was thinking about including holographic outfits from bloggers. That, however, may come in any updates to this blog post. For now...

"hologram" (LOOKBOOK) « "hologram" on LOOKBOOK.
"holographic" (LOOKBOOK) « "holographic" on LOOKBOOK.

Thoughts coming up. Next section.

--- Holographic Fashion: Final Thoughts ---

Holograms and holographic fashion items are a great way to draw attention. Holograms are tacky, but not severely tacky. I wouldn't recommend or structure any outfits that are holographic or introduce any holographic items to any outfits. If you're going to do holographic items, they are just like any other attention-grabbing details- best used in moderation. No more than one holographic item to your outfit.

Regardless, I am not awed or excited about holographic fashion. I don't hate the trend; just not into this whole thing much. That's all.

Want some holographic stuff? Want to remind everyone how overrated the '80s and early '90s are (or annoy people about these two times)? Want to showcase your unique style and personality? If you answered "yes" to any or all three questions, then feel free to visit the next section to score some holographic stuff! Of course, your involvement is voluntary.

--- Holograms Online ---

Want to look around for some hologram items online? Let me help you! You took time out of your day/night to visit this blog post; you'd might as well get your money's worth. Use the following items and links:

I tried to alternate between "hologram" and "holographic" to find as many results as possible for you all. Regardless, take a look at these items if you want to score some holographic fashion:

hologram on Amazon or holographic on Amazon
hologram on eBay or holographic on eBay
