Pom Poms

John B. Marine | 5:21 PM | | |
The pom poms I will make mention here are in fashion. While cheerleaders use pom poms, so do various fashion designers trying to design garments. These are dangling, spherical details that have caught the eye of many a fashionista. These can be small pom poms that outline an outfit or big ones (sometimes colorful) that are used as accents for an outfit or a pair of shoes. So what do I think about them? Keep reading.

Before I begin, let me set the mood with some pom pom fashion. Check it:

^ from: www.amazon.com - This coverup is accented with pom poms. Pom poms on clothes and shoes can be much larger than the ones you see here.

To be honest, pom poms annoy me. I don't like these pom pom touches as much as a lot of fashion lovers do. They aren't as cute or as stylish as many make them out to be. Some simple pom poms have actually killed outfits or garments to me. I am not as annoyed about pom poms as I am with skulls or anything, however. Especially seeing colorful pom poms adorn an outfit, colored pom poms look like someone was used as paintball target practice shooting. I'm sorry- I'm not feeling pom poms in the least sense.

On the other hand, there are some shorts outlined in pom poms that look okay to me. I just don't like pom poms much to say I would recommend an outfit using pom poms. My Final Thoughts on pom poms- leave pom poms to cheerleaders and keep them far away from clothes and shoes.

These are, at least, my thoughts on pom poms. I'm sure you may think differently. So...

What are your thoughts on pom pom details on clothes and shoes?
