Riding Boots

(UPDATED: December 4, 2017)

Riding boots offer a sleek profile and a smooth appearance. It is because of this as to why I consider them my favorite flat-heel or low-heel feminine boots. Riding boots started becoming popular some time in the mid-2000s as fashion was embracing equestrian chic. Such boots from the likes of Ann Demeulemeester, Steve Madden, Frye, and even Nike (among others) have helped riding boots to become stylish to wear. This blog post is about these trendy and sleek boots.

Riding Boots at a Glance

^ from: www.amazon.com - Sexy, sleek, and stylish; riding boots can be a charming compliment to your outfits.

The appeal of riding boots lie in their sleek profile. Tucked into a pair of jeans/pants or worn out with a skirt or dress, the elegant profile of riding boots make them wearable. These boots have a very modest low heel. The modest profile of riding boots is often times why I love seeing these being worn, especially when tucked into jeans. They can be just as stylish boots to wear about as much as any high-heel boots. In fact, I may even go as far as saying I'd prefer these as your flat or low-heel boots rather than a pair of sheepskin boots or rain boots.

Riding boots were primarily meant for the sake of riding horses. The boots have tall enough shafts and are rugged enough to endure days on the ranch. They are stylish and functional boots to wear even when taking part in equestrian sporting events. As with certain designers, such designers have brought the appeal of riding boots to work with everyday fashion besides just being on horse ranches.

You now have an idea as to what makes these boots so stylish and trendy.

Riding Boots: Final Thoughts

Riding boots are the most stylish flat-heel or low-heel boots anyone can wear. You don't need to ride horses, have a stable full of horses, or work at a ranch to wear riding boots. I find these boots to best be worn tucked into jeans. Some even would prefer riding boots be worn with knee-length skirts and dresses. Whatever the case, one really can't go wrong with a chic pair of riding boots.
