Here on "StyleSpace by JBM," I don't exclusively focus on high-end designers. I don't consider my blog any outlet to high-end designers. This is one of those times where I break away from more affordable material to highlight on some of the more popular brands, makes, and items. So I hope you enjoy this post of mine.
And as with any post of mine, all featured brands are all on personal opinion. I don't do sponsored posts or adjust my opinions just to satisfy any featured brands or items. I am not paid by anyone to make any of my posts.
--- Christian Louboutin ---Not excited for Louboutins? You probably will be once you see these photo inspirations:
^ from: www.barneys.com - What fashionista wouldn't swoon over a pair of luscious Louboutin shoes? If money weren't an object, any fashionista wanting to look fabulous would be foolish to pass up on Christian Louboutin and his offerings.
The man. The myth. The legend. Get to know Christian Louboutin and his shoes. But before I begin, let me share with you a quote:
"Shoes transform your body language and attitude. They lift you physically and emotionally..."
I'm sure my female audience would DEFINITELY agree. Then, there's this:
"I would hate for someone to look at my shoes and say, 'Oh my God! Those look so comfortable!'"
Having said that... moving on:
The Designer and the Brand.Born on January 7, 1963 (yay, a fellow Capricorn!); Christian Louboutin is one of the world's finest in any discipline of fashion. This shoe maker is synonymous with high-end chic. Louboutin founded his company back to 1992. According to Louboutin's Facebook fan page, there are over 70 Louboutin boutiques in over 46 countries.
Get to know him a little more with this video (click on the link to view on YouTube - WARNING: this video may contain some mild not-safe-for-work material):

The Goods. The trademark of Louboutin shoes are the laquered red soles. Can you believe some people even try to color the soles red or use some kind of stickers or anything to mimic the red soles of Louboutins? Like an old song used to go- "...ain't nothing like the real thing, baby." It is safe to say that Louboutins are very much the "imitated, never duplicated" type. The portfolio of Louboutin shoes range from heels to flats. This portfolio also includes pumps, sandals, and boots. I even saw some Louboutin sneakers in my research for this blog post. Perhaps one of the most famous Louboutin shoes is the "Pigalle" pumps. So there is always more than one way to enjoy wearing and being seen in Louboutins.
Even though many know Louboutin as making fabulous shoes for women, he even makes some shoes for men. He also designs handbags for both men and women. So this fellow makes more than fabulous shoes- he can make a fabulous handbag as well. Just remember one thing regarding Louboutin items- they're expensive. A pair of Louboutin shoes will cost you at least $500 US Dollars. In fact, almost anything of Louboutin will start north of $500 US Dollars. Louboutin is a luxury designer, and luxury goods don't come cheap. Have you the money, however, you will be humbled with such a wonderful product. Just be careful of any counterfeit or bootleg products pretending to be Louboutin and pretending to be of Louboutin quality.
--- Louboutin Around the Internet ---From my browsing around, the first person to come to mind to me for Louboutin was Annie of "Stylish Petite."
