Now let's go to work!
--- Bells and Ruffles ---
Bells and ruffles are two feminine touches that make various outfits lovely. In the case of bells, a lot of us usually think about items like flared jeans, pants, skirts, and dresses. However in this blog post, I am looking at bells such as bell-sleeved garments.
Ruffles can range in style from cute to romantic. They can be cute as a sweet touch to garments and hosiery. They can be romantic as a way to compliment items ranging from blouses to dresses. For the kinky set, there are even lingerie and various other nightwear adorned with ruffles. So one can say that ruffles are an amazingly feminine detail that compliments a wide variety of garments ranging from girl babies to women.
Both bells and ruffles offer great charm and make for exceptional details to garments and accessories.
--- Bells and Ruffles: Picture Examples ---
Here are some garments with bells and ruffles.Bell Examples.
Hover your mouse over each item to learn the name of each item as I researched this topic. This might help you shoppers who see something you like here.^ from: www.amazon.com - The bell sleeves on this top makes it cute along with its unique tribal pattern.
^ from: www.amazon.com - Not all bell sleeves are massive. Some, like the example above offer more modest bell sleeves.
^ from: www.neimanmarcus.com - Some bell sleeve garments have short bells.
^ from: www.amazon.com - A dress with bell sleeves adds even more feminine charm to an already lovely dress.
^ from: www.shopbop.com - This is a bell sleeve romper/playsuit with simple bell sleeves.
^ from: www.amazon.com - The bells are extreme on this flutter sleeve top.
So now you have an idea of how much of a touch bells can offer.
Ruffle Examples.
Now that you've seen bells, it's time to talk ruffles now. No- not the Ruffles potato chips (which I love), but ruffles on garments.^ from: www.amazon.com - This blouse has bell sleeves at the wrists and a ruffled design up center. So this garment has a little of both of what this post is about.
^ from: www.amazon.com - This satin shirt has elegant ruffles accenting the center of it.
^ from: www.amazon.com - This is a strapless top with ruffled tiers.
^ from: www.amazon.com - These ankle socks have ruffles to them.
^ from: - Bikini tops can have ruffle designs to them.
^ from: www.amazon.com - This halter top is quite flirty with its tie front and halter design.
^ from: www.amazon.com - Ruffled designs on bikini bottoms (and even panties) can offer a skirted look and feel to them.
^ from: www.amazon.com - Skirts with ruffled tiers provide a girly touch to any average skirt.
^ from: www.amazon.com - Get all dolled up in a ruffle dress!.
There is your ruffled inspiration. Enjoyed it?
--- Bells and Ruffles: Final Thoughts ---
Because of the draping and elongating details provided by bells, and because of the extra appeal ruffles can provide, these are both my personal favorite feminine features of certain garments. You can almost do no wrong sporting bells and/or ruffles. So find yourself some bell and ruffle garments and look fabulous!Cross-Promotion/Other Reading.
I only want to share this one. So take a look at this post below if you are interested:• Flare Flair (StyleSpace by JBM)
^ Even though I mentioned bells, I did NOT mention bell bottom jeans and pants in this post about bells and ruffles. If you want to read about bell bottom pants, read my "Flare Flair" blog post, which discusses flared garments of various kinds.
As of this blog post, I am considering a post regarding bell bottoms based on some popular ones of late. Stay tuned to "StyleSpace by JBM" for that post.
I was considering offering resources for you all to get bell garments or ruffled garments, but decided not to for this initial blog post. Maybe I'll change my mind in the future. Stay tuned for updates.
What do you think?
Do you like bells and ruffles in fashion? What garments work best with these details? What kind of impact and style do you think bells and/or ruffles provide?
